For our A2 music video we used one of Rihanna songs- Diamond
Locations:
Firstly, we had to decide on five locations for out music video, we decided two different locations outside, one on the field and one near a brick wall outside; we used a canon DSLR camera and the shots that we used near the brick wall was a medium close up showing with simple body movements and lip syncing.
The one near the field was filmed in long shot and it showed the full outfit of the girl.
We also had another location of her sitting on the stair case; simply sing the lyrics with a stern emotion.
Another location was inside the college hallway, this was her standing up beside a glass door singing the lyrics.
Filming outdoors
Positive&Negative : The positive thing about our location that was outdoors, is that it was well lit, and we could see everything clearly; the emotions and the body movements; however the disadvantage about filming outside, the wind was blowing and it was effecting the audio, making it hard to hear the music.
Filming inside

We began editing the music video, on a software called priemere pro, we had to decide on how we are going to place the video clips; we used our 5 locations around the school, to then cut it down into 0.52 seconds slot.
Camera:
When shooting the music video it was shot horizontal it every shot; in most shots we had long shot, showing the full length of the student; in shot on the stairs we had a close mid shot of the student.
The disadvantage with the camera shooting, is when their was zooming in and out, this made it a bit shaky and not professional.
